How We Do It

Although we strive to raise funds throughout the year, our two primary fundraisers are the Spring golf outing and the Fall pancake breakfast.  These have been longstanding events that have become terrific opportunities for many individuals and businesses to support the community.

To help us meet our mission, we have several standing committees:

Name Chairs Description
Community Service Serve the community by providing financial support and our time to several needs based organizations.
Finance Oversee the club's financial accounting procedures and practices to ensure we are being good stewards of the financial resources that have been donated.
Golf Outing Committee Plan, coordinate, organize, and oversee the club's annual golf fundraising event.
Human & Spiritual Values
Schuessler, Dee
Coordinate and promote activities that support spiritual development, human companionship, and comfort to the club membership and community.
Interclubs Coordinate the spirit of fellowship, meetings, and activities between the Mason club and other Kiwanis clubs in the region.
Mason Scholarship Foundation
Mueller, Jack
Sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Mason to provide scholarship grants to deserving high school seniors in the City of Mason school district.
Membership Growth and Attendance Oversee all aspects of club membership including prospective member invitations, new member education, and current member retention.
Pancake Day Plan, coordinate, and oversee the club's annual pancake fundraising event.
Public Relations Raise public awareness of the club's community involvement, events, and contributions through various media communications.
Young Children - Priority One Develop leadership skills in our youth through service programs such as Key Club, K-Kids, and Builders Club.
Youth Services Review, develop, and implement youth service projects and activities that meet the needs of the community.
